Mackaylan has been participating in “Summer Son” day camp at our church all week. It lasts until noon each day so Lydia and I have used our time in the mornings to run errands and clean the house. Today we went and visited with my parents for a few minutes after we picked Mackaylan up from camp. We are so lucky to be able to live close to both sets of grandparents. It is a blessing in so many ways. They just adore the girls and the feeling is definitely reciprocated!
After lunch, I decided to be productive and tackle one of the many projects on my “to-do” list. Please tell me you have “hot spots” in your house. You know, a place that seems to collect stuff and if you are not careful the entire area will be blazing with clutter! Well, the desk in our bedroom was more of a “forest fire” than a “hot spot” and I had finally had enough…

Tonight at church Brian Free and Assurance was in concert. Neither Mackaylan nor Lydia were feeling it so we only made it through half of the concert before I decided it would be best the girls headed on home. Mickey stayed for the remainder of the concert so this gave Mackaylan and I time to whip up a batch of muffins and bacon for supper. I know. I know. Betty Crocker better watch out! ha However, it beat eating out and it allowed the girls some time to chill and unwind before bed.
It was a busy, but wonderful Wednesday! :)

Thank you for the visit! Your girls are so cute!!! And yes the shoot me link up is so fun. Before I started 3 years ago I had hardly any pictures in my scrapbook of me. Well now I have pages full of them since I print each one I post on my blog. Who would have thought Carrie's scrapbook would have pictures of Carrie!! lol
