After a few months off from the racing scene, the new season is now in full swing! Mickey, Betsi and I ventured out to the 1st race of the season in the mountains of NC while the girls stayed home with Grams and Pop-O. It was definitely an event to remember in the fact that it was freezing cold and even snowed! While I have wanted to have a snow day all winter long, I did not want it to snow on race day when I was to be outside for most of the afternoon! This was a new event for Mickey to participate in, and while he didn’t finish very well, it was good practice before the first GNCC race of the season. Here are a few pics from that day:
