One of my goals for 2015 is to blog more consistently. I was reminded once again this evening that the purpose of my blog is to capture and document life. I don't always have to use lots of words- I can let the pictures speak for themselves. What a great reminder! I also don't need to wait for an "event"-my goal is to document the real. The everyday routine. Who we are and what we do at this stage of life. So, without further ado, here are a few pics from the week!
On Sunday, we went to eat lunch after church with Grams and Pop O. The girls wore their matching "sister shirts" in honor of Tia's bday!
Monday was out first day back to school after Christmas break. This week has been an adjustment to get back in the swing of things. We are all looking forward to this weekend that's for sure!
One thing that made Monday better was getting my "Womb Wrap" in the mail. I have worn it a few times this week and am very pleased with this purchase! I think I'm going to purchase a white one too! :)
Mickey has been leading a men's Bible Study this year. They held their first meeting on Tuesday night. The girls enjoyed having Maddi and Jenn over to play during this time.
I am trying to cook more, especially before Baby Ace arrives. On Wesnesday night I made a semi-homemade chicken pot pie. It was pretty good if I do say so myself! ;) I think I have enough ingredients to make another one to begin our freezer stockpile (another goal before March.)
Today we actually had a 2-hr delay due to extreme cold temperatures. However, I had a meeting to attend off-campus that began at the regularly scheduled time. I decided to treat myself to some hot chocolate from Starbucks before heading back to school!
Tonight was our first trip to El Surenos for 2015. This is a weekly tradition we have had with my mom for a year or two. We all look forward to it each week!
Happy Friday, friends!!

I think your weekly recap was very well done. You are right...it isn't just the "big" events we need to remember. It is those special everyday moments that will really mean so much when our kids are all grown up. I actually need to get better about capturing more of our everyday memories. So did I read that correctly that baby's name is Ace or is that just what you are calling him in the womb?
I want to say that I love to be able to make a comment on here. You know you have such a great web site that all that I have seen is great, I want to invite all you O'Shields to This is The O'Shields Family Page God Bless all of you.
