A few weeks ago Mackaylan and I visited The Carl Sandburg Home in Flat Rock, NC with our summer Mommy & Me group. We had a fun time hiking to the house and touring the barn and garden area. If you are planning on going in the near future be sure to wear your tennis shoes. Some of our group members found out the hard way that it is not easy to hike in sandals!
