As I mentioned in an earlier post, this Disney trip was rather impromptu. We didn't deicide until early in May that we were actually going to go this summer. However, we were very fortunate to be able to find a VRBO at Bonnet Creek Resort which is one of the only resorts inside the gates of Disney that is not Disney owned. Let me tell you, it was fabulous!
It had multiple pools (many of them with watersides, lazy rivers, splash pads, etc.),
a beach volleyball court,
a playground,
kid activities throughout the day, restaurants onsite, and wonderful accommodations.
After our day at Epcot we decided to have a resort/rest day in order to prepare our bodies for the LONG day we knew we would have when we visited the Magic Kingdom. We had a great time playing in the various pools all. day. long. I think Ace might have been the only one of us who caught up on his rest, but we had a great day anyway! :)

I think I may need to go to Florida, just to go to this resort. It looks amazing!!!!
Okay, my kids would love that resort. I definitely have to look into that one for when we go back. We loved staying on site for convenience and getting to use their shuttle to get around, but it can get expensive. For our first trip, we figured it was worth the splurge because Eddie and I had both always wanted to stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge, but next time needs to be more budget friendly with three kids. :-)
What an awesome resort.
