Shades of Morning

I recently had the honor of receiving a review copy of Shades of Morning by Marlo Schalesky from Multnomah Publishers. From the first word until the last page, I was intrigued.

Marnie Wittier is very comfortable with life just as it is. She is finally the owner of a coffee shop/bookstore in California- miles from where she grew up and the mistakes of her past. However, her life is turned upside down when she receives custody of her 15 yr. old nephew, Emmit. Just when Marnie thought the the regrets of her past were safely hidden away in a box on the shelf, she is forced to deal with them. Through this journey, Marnie discovers the true meaning of love, forgiveness, and second chances.

I highly recommend you add this book to you "To Read" list. You won't be dissappointed! However, I only feel it is fair to let you know that Marlo Schalesky is known for adding an unexpected twist at the end of her novels. Don't say I didn't warn you.....

Happy Reading!
